David Kay is an independent singer/songwriter from South Cumbria, UK, playing a range of original material from upbeat acoustic anthems to slow folk ballads. He plays in pubs and clubs all around the UK and embarked on four DIY UK tours in 2015. In 2014 David released his debut EP entitled ‘People Who Want More’, with songs from this getting air-play on top UK radio stations including BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 music. Having spent the past few months recording new songs accompanied by a full band, David is set to release his debut album in May 2016.
