Jaakko Eino Kalevi:
Der Multi-Instrumentalist Jaako Eino Kalevi kombiniert Folk, Funk und Psych-Rock zu trippigem, experimentellem Pop und kreiert seine eigene Art von schrägem, strukturiertem Synthie-Pop. Mit jeder Veröffentlichung verfolgte er einen etwas anderen Ansatz, vom introspektiven Dream-Pop des 2018er Albums Out of Touch bis hin zum verrückten Funk auf dem 2019er Minialbum Dissolution. Kalevi wuchs in Jyväskylä auf, einer Stadt in Mittelfinnland. Er begann als Junge Musik zu machen, nachdem er den Prog-Metal von Dream Theater und Hip-Hop entdeckt hatte, und brachte sich selbst das Gitarrespielen und die Verwendung von Beatmaking-Software bei, bevor er Reggae, Disco, Techno und mehr erkundete. Kalevi brachte eine Reihe von Veröffentlichungen heraus, die seinen vielseitigen Musikgeschmack widerspiegeln, darunter 2010 das von Coldwave inspirierte Album Modern Life und 2013 die dunstige, treffend benannte Dreamzone EP. Im folgenden Jahr veröffentlichte er die Disco-Hommage Yin Yang Theatre, eine EP auf dem Label Beats in Space von DJ Tim Sweeney. Sein selbstbetiteltes Album erschien 2015 über das Domino-Imprint Weird World. In den folgenden zwei Jahren spielte Jaakko Eino Kalevi Solo-Live-Termine in ganz Europa und wurde gebeten, auf David Byrnes 2018 erschienenem Album American Utopia mitzuwirken. Außerdem spielte er bei der belgischen New-Wave-Band Aksak Maboul mit. 2017 kehrte er ins Studio zurück, um mit der Arbeit an seinem nächsten Album zu beginnen, während er gleichzeitig dem Debütalbum Orbit seiner eher auf Synthesizer fokussierten Band Man Duo den letzten Schliff gab. Kalevis zweites Album für den Domino-Ableger Weird World erschien im folgenden Jahr. Aufgenommen in Helsinki und Berlin und mit Kalevi an allen Instrumenten, erweiterte Out of Touch den Sound seines bereits eklektischen, von den 80ern beeinflussten Pops. 2019 kehrte er mit dem siebenteiligen Mini-Album Dissolution zurück. Funkiger und wilder als sein früheres Werk, dreht sich das Material auf Dissolution um sparsame Tanzrhythmen und kalte, spacige Synthie-Riffs.

Itaca:
Itaca sind Albertine Sarges und Lo Selbo auf ihrer unerbittlichen Odyssee. Sie trafen sich zum ersten Mal im Jahr 2011. Damals lebte Albertine in Rom und studierte sakrale Musik. Lo Selbo besuchte Rom regelmäßig. Kurze Zeit später waren Albertine und Lo ein Paar und begannen, gemeinsam in Itaca zu singen. Obwohl beide in Berlin leben, beschlossen sie, in der Sprache ihrer ersten Begegnung zu singen: Italienisch. Itaca entwickelten ihren eigenen Stil, der von den italienischen Cantautori der 70er Jahre (Battisti, Battiato, Dalla), dem Europop der 80er Jahre (Yazoo, Human League) und dem Avant-Electro des neuen Jahrtausends (The Knife, Animal Collective) beeinflusst ist.

Dena:
Seit ihrem Umzug nach Berlin arbeitet die in Bulgarien geborene Singer/Songwriterin und Produzentin DENA (geb. Denitza Todorova) an ihrem unverwechselbaren Sound, einer einzigartigen Mischung aus handgemachtem Pop, autodidaktischen Klavierkompositionen, mehrstimmigen Harmonien und persönlichen Texten, kombiniert mit selbst programmierten elektronischen Beats. Nachdem ihre Single "Cash, Diamond Rings, Swimming Pools", die als EP auf dem französischen Label Kitsuné veröffentlicht wurde, im Sommer 2012 viral ging, wurde DENA von einigen der größten Medien in Europa und weltweit gelobt (z. B. Der Spiegel, Guardian, Dazed & Confused, Fader) und begeisterte das Publikum beim SXSW, in Clubs und auf Festivals in ganz Europa. Im Jahr 2014 veröffentlichte sie ihr Debütalbum Flash, eine Sammlung basslastiger Pop-Songs, die sich mit dem immer schneller werdenden Leben im digitalen Zeitalter beschäftigen. Seit der Veröffentlichung ihrer ersten Singles tourt sie international und spielt Showcases, Festivals und Konzerte in ganz Europa, zusammen mit ihrer Live-Band oder solo. Im September 2018 veröffentlichte sie ihr zweites Album "If It's Written" über Mansions and Millions, gefolgt von der EP "Mixed Feelings" (auch bei Mansions and Millions), die im Oktober 2021 herauskam.

World Brain:
World Brain ist das Soloprojekt von Lucas Ufo von der Band Fenster. Sein Debütalbum "Peer 2 Peer" wurde am 12. April 2019 bei Mansions and Millions veröffentlicht. Im Oktober 2021 veröffentlichte er eine neue Single namens "Always on the Line".

Now that this weird year is coming to a close, the Berlin based label Mansions and Millions is presenting a beautiful mix of label acts and friends. Part of this show are Jaakko Eino Kalevi, Itaca, Dena and World Brain.

Jaakko Eino Kalevi:
Combining folk, funk, and psych-rock into trippy experimental pop, multi-instrumentalist Jaako Eino Kalevi wove his own breed of weird, textural synth pop. Taking a slightly different approach with each release, he moved from the introspective dream pop of 2018’s Out of Touch to more demented funk on the 2019 mini-album Dissolution. Kalevi grew up in Jyväskylä, a city in central Finland. He began making music as a boy after discovering Dream Theater’s prog-metal and hip-hop, teaching himself how to play guitar and use beat-making software before exploring reggae, disco, techno, and more. Kalevi issued a string of releases reflecting his omnivorous musical taste, including 2010’s coldwave-inspired album Modern Life and 2013’s hazy, fittingly named Dreamzone EP. The following year, he released the disco homage Yin Yang Theatre, an EP on DJ Tim Sweeney’s Beats in Space label. His 2015 self-titled album arrived via the Domino imprint Weird World. Over the next two years, Jaakko Eino Kalevi played solo live dates across Europe and was asked to play on David Byrne’s 2018 album American Utopia. He also stepped in to play with Belgian new wave outfit Aksak Maboul. 2017 saw him return to the studio to start work on his next album while also putting the finishing touches on his more synth-focused act Man Duo’s debut Orbit. Kalevi’s second album for Domino offshoot Weird World appeared the following year. Recorded in Helsinki and Berlin and featuring Kalevi playing all the instruments, Out of Touch saw him broadening the sound of his already eclectic, ’80s-influenced pop. In 2019 he returned with the seven-song mini-album Dissolution. Funkier and more feral than his earlier work, the material on Dissolution was centered around spare dance rhythms and cold, spacy synth riffing.

Itaca:
Itaca are Albertine Sarges and Lo Selbo on their relentless odyssey. They met for the first time in 2011. Back then, Albertine lived in Rome studying sacral music. Lo Selbo visited Rome regularly. Shortly after, Albertine and Lo were a couple and began to sing together in Itaca. Although both live in Berlin, they decided to sing in the language of their first meeting: Italian. Itaca developed their peculiar style, that is influenced by Italian cantautori of the 70s (Battisti, Battiato, Dalla), Europop of the 80s (Yazoo, Human League), and Avant-Electro of the new millennium (The Knife, Animal Collective).

Dena:
Ever since moving to Berlin, Bulgarian-born singer/songwriter and producer DENA (born Denitza Todorova) has been working on her signature sound, a unique mix of handmade pop, self taught piano compositions, polyphonic harmonies and personal lyrics, combined with self programmed electronic beats. After her single “Cash, Diamond Rings, Swimming Pools”, released as an EP on the French label Kitsuné, went viral in summer 2012, DENA has received praise from some of the biggest media in Europe and worldwide (e.g. Der Spiegel, Guardian, Dazed & Confused, Fader), as well as wowing audiences at SXSW, clubs and festivals around Europe. In 2014 she unleashed her debut album Flash, a collection of bass-heavy pop-inspired songs about the ever-increasing pace of human life in the digital era. Ever since the release of her first singles she has been touring internationally and playing showcases, festivals and concerts around Europe, together with her live band or solo. In September 2018 she released her second album “If It’s Written” via Mansions and Millions followed by the EP „Mixed Feelings“ which came out in October 2021.

World Brain:
World Brain is the solo project of Lucas Ufo from Fenster. In early February 2019 he released the single "Network" followed by "Hypertext" in April. His debut album "Peer 2 Peer" was released on April 12 by Mansions and Millions. In October 2021 he released a new single called „Always on the Line“
