Devil Named Jones talked to the Devil, and the Devil told them to start a band. ‘The band should Rock’... said the Devil. ‘Ok....’ said the boys. And so began DNJ.
The four lads come from very different lands and backgrounds; Germany, Sweden, France and Australia - meeting in the sin city of Berlin in 2009 - what better place to do the Devil's work?
Justus, Robert, Julien and Jim were brought together by their love of music and the way it moves people, and DNJ have built up a lively following in Berlin, playing legendary Berlin clubs such as Astra, Lido, Knaack and SO36. The energetic DNJ live show is spontaneous, heavy, deep and fun demonstrating a range of songwriting encompassing Rock, Funk, and Blues with just the right amount of Soul.
Devil Named Jones. It's like the Devil playing jazz with Jesus. Or Elvis talking dirty with Britney. It don't make no sense. But it Rocks.
Together in Berlin since 2009, they have channeled Devil juice into a potent form of Rock music, shaking hips and turning heads.
