BENJAMIN DIAMOND

Mit « Stardust » einer der Begründer vom French Touch.
Experimentiert mit Electro, Pop, Funk und Disco!

Benjamin Diamond started his music career as a punk rocker. One of his first projects was the punk band Chicken Pops. But, inspired by such acts as New Order, Michael Jackson, and Roxy Music, he quickly gravitated towards electro-funk and hooked up with the band the Party. Though fairly popular in France, the venture was completely overshadowed by his next major project, Stardust, launched in cahoots with celebrated disco house personalities Alan Braxe and Thomas Bangalter (of Daft Punk). Diamond sang the lyrics on Stardust's 1998 single "Music Sounds Better With You," which was a major hit the world over. In 2001, he released his first album, Strange Attitude, which carried his earlier singles "Joyride" and "Strange Attitude." However, in mid 2005, he released his second album, Out of Myself, which was much more pop-oriented than his first album. Let's get high and There is a girl were released as singles.

HOUSSE DE RACKET

Pop, Rock, Electro frech zusammengemixt, inspiriert von Daft Punk und Phoenix!

Housse De Racket have just released their first album in France to a great media reaction. It's been produced by Gonzales (Feist, Jamie Lidell, Mocky and Peaches) and the first 2 singles have already been big radio hits in France. The third single, Synthetiseur will be released later this summer and features remixes from Van She, Mixhell, The Teenagers and a big name mix soon to be announced. The band have just completed a sold out national tour of France and then they will be playing a number of festivals across Europe over the summer. In the last 6 months the band have played with Sebastian Tellier, Phoenix, The Virgins and Razorlight.

STUCK IN THE SOUND

Einer der Shootingstars des französischen Independent-Rocks.
Produziert von Nick Sansano (Sonic Youth, Public Enemy, Noir Desir)
Bekannt für ihre Live-Performance!

After six years together, Stuck in the Sound have reached a decisive point with their new album. "Shoegazing Kids" pushes back the group's limitations, surprises and impresses. "We put all our hopes on the emotion and interpretation of the songs. In comparison, our first album was just going through the motions", explains José Reis Fontao, the group's singer. In fact the new Stuck in the Sound immediately hits you with a powerful sound rarely encountered in multifaceted rock. Known for their catchy rock-pop anthems, Stuck in the Sound deliver two more: the effective Shoot Shoot and the enigmatic OUAIS, a kind of dance-rock epic lasting more than five minutes. The eternally fashionable influence of the Pixies and Nirvana or the Smiths on the irresistible Dirty Waterfalls does not go unnoticed. With this album and a loyal audience, their appearance at the Ardentes already promises to be memorable.
